#9) AMS Cheerleaders Repeat as State Champions, Fitch Ends Title Reign with Runner-Up Finish
After claiming the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators 7th & 8th Grade State Championship in 2025, the AMS Competition Cheer Team retained its crown by winning a second straight state title at the 2026 OASSA State Championships.
The competition took place in January at Butler High School in Vandalia with the back-to-back champions bringing home the state title in the Non-Building Large category. Coached by Macy Kittelberger, the Lady Falcons will be looking for the ever elusive three-peat as they get ready for the 2026-27 season.

Fitch Cheerleaders Finish as State Runner-Up
The AMS cheerleaders' elder counterparts are no strangers to success themselves as the Fitch cheerleaders were in the middle of a state title defense of their own in 2026.
Unfortunately, after winning back-to-back OASSA State Championships in the Traditional Building Category in 2024 and 2025, the team saw its two year title reign come to an end at the state tournament in February. Harrison High School edged out the Lady Falcons at the event to take this year's title with Fitch's hopes for a three-peat ending in a runner-up finish.
