Folkwein Voted All-American Conference Player of the Year

Fitch senior Kylie Folkwein has been named the 2026 All-American Conference Player of the Year for her performance on the diamond this season. Folkwein has been part of a strong core group of seniors who helped the Lady Falcons to an undefeated regular season with a 22-0 record and are still going strong in the postseason.

The two-time OHSAA Division 1 state champion leads the team with 15 homeruns and has collected 47 RBI, good for second on the team. Folkwein, who signed to play college ball at Syracuse beginning next year, is also the team leader with 13 doubles and ranks third in hits (41), batting average (.577), and stolen bases (10).
