Student-athletes entering grades 7 through 12 who plan on participating in any athletic activity during the 2026-27 school year will have the opportunity to get their required physical on May 19, 2026. The Austintown Fitch Athletic Department will host the event with medical professionals from Mercy Health on hand to administer the physicals with check-in beginning at 5:30pm in the main lobby of Fitch High School.
The cost is just $20 (cash only) and a parent signature of consent is needed before a physical can be performed. Required school physical forms for the event can be picked up in the Austintown Fitch Athletic Office. All student-athletes must have a completed physical turned in to the Athletic Department prior to taking part in team activities in order to be eligible for athletic competition during the 2026-27 school year.
The Mahoning County health department will also be on site offering vaccinations to students entering grades 7 and 12 by appointment only. To schedule an on-site appointment, call 330-270-2855 ext 125.
