Since 1968 the Falcons’ Baseball team have called Richard L. Coppola Field home. The field is named in memory of the Fitch Alum and longtime coach who is also a member of the Austintown Athletics Hall of Fame.

A full artificial turf surface and lights were installed for the 2018 season and was the first fully light and turf high school baseball field in Mahoning County. In addition to the being the home of the Falcons, it has also served as the home for Eastern Gateway Community College’s baseball team during the 2019 season.  The 50-foot high scoreboard is iconic and has stood since 1992 with the inning-by-inning scoreboard portion being replaced in time for the 2022 season.
